Biogas
Co-ferment
Besides a wide range of moist animal feeds, Bonda also has a selection of products for the production of biogas.
- Corn steep liquor is rich in protein and is used in animal feed/co-ferment. It is released during the production of starch from maize. On average our Corn steep liquor produces 300 m3 of biogas with a methane content of 62%;
- Delactosed permeate is an animal feed/co-ferment that is released during the production of casein and lactose from dairy. On average our delactosed permeate produces 146 m3 of biogas with a methane content of 52%.
Both products are approved for use as co-ferment and are mentioned in the Positive List for co-ferments. To illustrate the quality and stability in their composition it is good to mention that both products are used successfully in liquid-feeding rations for pigs. Both products meet GMP+ and Trusq-standards.
